PETŐ ART GALÉRIA will change its profile and will continue its activities under the name PETŐ ART CIRCLE from September 2023. The PETŐ ART GALLERY was founded in September 2022 with the idea of making the art of István Pető, who lives in France, known and appreciated also in Hungary, and to bring István’s great works to a wider audience. This task will be continued by the Várfok Gallery, which has chosen István as one of its members.

PETŐ ART CIRCLE, non-profit arts organisation, will continue to promote the work of István Pető, with the following priorities:

 – press monitoring, giving news about István Pető’s appearances in Hungary and also abroad,
– presentation of István Pető’s art in non-profit organisations and exhibition spaces,
– the professional processing of István Pető’s oeuvre, in the form of a catalogue or book published every 2-3 years, with studies and articles,
– organising visits to István Pető’s studio in Saint-Denise,
– writing a newsletter informing the Circle of all the interesting aspects of István’s activities in every six months,
– organising a charity auction.
