We are glad to share the news that on September 6, 2025, István Pető’s exhibition “IDŐVONAL Pető|70” opened at the Gallery of the Benedictine Abbey Museum in Tihany.
Norbert Jeromos Mihályi OSB, the head of the Abbey, welcomed the guests, followed by an engaging conversation between art journalist Anikó Mórocz and our artist. Both the guided tour by István Sinkó, president of the Hungarian Painters’ Society, and the music of Mihály Dresch, Kossuth and Liszt Ferenc Prize–winning musician, heightened the atmosphere, making the event truly unforgettable. We are deeply grateful for the wonderful work of the exhibition’s curator, Sonja Pintér.
The exhibition is open until November 2, 2025, during the regular opening hours of the Abbey Museum.
